User Manual

MySportcomm Earpiece is a narrow band radio receiver that can be used with a suitable VHF transmitter.  MySportcomm Earpiece is ergonomically shaped for optimum fit into either the left or right ear canal. It is small in size to ensure total discretion.  The speaker’s voice is transmitted by FM directly to the My Sportcomm Earpiece placed in the user’s ear.  MySportcomm Earpiece is available in models within 150 to 170 Mhz range:

Sportcomm Flex                                    one reprogrammable frequency

Operation:

Separate receiver and speaker part (fig. 2/1). After removing the sticker from the battery, you can insert an A10 size Zinc Air battery with the (+) sign visible (Fig.1).  Please use only My Sportcomm Earpiece approved batteries.  The use of incorrect batteries may cause damage to the earpiece and will void the warranty.

(fig 2).  After deciding in which ear you want to wear the My Sportcomm Earpiece, take it between thumb and forefinger so that the tip with green filter points upwards.  Insert the earpiece carefully into your ear canal.   Switch on your radio or transmitter and select the right channel.  Check radio contact, adjust volume level.

My Sportcomm Earpiece is equipped with a frequency synthesizer, which can be programmed either one time or several times, depending on the model.   Your MySportcomm Earpiece dealer can program the units according to your specification.

Care and Maintenance

My Sportcomm Earpiece is a high tech product and should be treated with care.  Clean it after each use with a soft tissue or other hearing aid approved cleaning material.  Check the green cerumen filter frequently.  The cerumen filter protects the earphone against blockage from earwax and can be cleaned or replaced if required.  To replace the cerumen filter, please follow the Cerumex Filter System instruction provided separately.
